Welcome to your luxury hotel room on an ultra-quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac close to downtown Port Hope. This cozy and quaint house was built in 1895 and has been fully upgraded over the years with hardwood floors and modern windows. The house was recently enlarged with a new guest room where I am looking forward to welcoming you. Your private entrance with deck faces north-east and overlooks the small lawn and garden with a maple tree. The space is flooded with natural light from French doors, a large window and a skylight, but room-darkening shades and draperies are installed for your comfort.
Inside, watch TV and movies on a 48” wall-mounted TV with cablevision, Netflix, MLB baseball and other streaming services at the ready. Work, eat or play a game from the bookshelves at the small table and chairs, or relax in the luxury of the vintage Scandinavian leather recliner and footstool.
At check-in guests are provided with keys to the French doors on your private deck (or self-check-in with a code to the lockbox if I’m not here) so that you can come and go as you please.
I live on the premises and will be nearby most of the time and available in person or by cell phone if you have any questions. If you have free time, we may be able to have a visit and drinks on your deck or my living room or front porch.
