Summary: Although a bit dated, the rooms were very clean and the staff were always there to help in anyway that they could to make a guest's stay just that much better. The location was great in terms of proximity to the waterfront and Government Street restaurants and shops. Plenty of good breakfast places nearby too such as the Dutch Bakery and Cafe on Fort street just a 3 minute walk from the hotel. All in all the Strathcona Hotel is a good place to stay while visiting Victoria.
