Positive: Cottage was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything necessary to enjoy your stay. Fridge was spacious with an adequate amount of freezer space. Air conditioning and room fans made the cottage very comfortable to stay in - it was easy to control the temperature and climate during the day and into the evenings and at night. Windows were clean with no con webs or mild or dirt. There weren’t any bugs or rodents detected inside at all. Counters in the kitchen and bathroom were polished when we arrived, toilet was spotless, shower was also spotless. The bedding was new and nearly made. There was ample room in the bedrooms to unpack and get comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with new sponges, dish towel, dish soap, hand soap etc. Couch in the living-room was big, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the free wifi and Netflix/Disney+ etc., In the bathroom the shower was extremely warm and enjoyable, perfect water pressure, easy to regulate from very cold to very hot - we never lacked hot water during our stay.
Negative: A little bit overgrown and bushy near the beach area which made us worry about bugs biting us and our 9yr old who has a severe histamine allergy, however surprisingly there weren’t many insects at all and we ended up really enjoying ourselves. We do recommend water shoes also as the water is pretty rocky in some areas - thankfully we had ours so we had no issues entering the water and swimming. Also you have to be prepared to take your own garbage home with you - but we ended up having a spare and empty cooler and we separated out recycling from food wastes and double bagged our trash to be able to transport it back home as the dump sites in the area overcharge substantially to dump garbage. Only other thing was that the bbq was very dirty inside before we had a chance to use it, however my husband was able to burn off all the gunk and clean it adequately enough to use to make our dinner. Nothing major to complain about honestly though. We are happy to have booked here and we would certainly love to come back - we would easily and simply adapt to these minor things.
