Positive: The 2 bedroom apartment has been very recently renovated so everything is fresh and new. The space was immaculately clean as well, and it was clear that the owners take pride in providing a very beautiful rental property. It is a short walk into the town of Castello Tesino, which offers much more than you might think. The two best features of the property are the amazing views from the bedrooms. Just stunning and a wonderful way to wind down the evening was to watch the sunset. The second best thing is the tap water which apparently comes directly from a volcanic source without addition of chemicals. It is absolutely delicious so don’t waste your money on bottles of mineral water! We loved our stay here and would be happy to come back again.
Negative: This property might not be suitable for people with mobility issues. It is on the third floor with no elevator. I was actually on crutches during my stay and managed to do the stairs and walks into town, but it could be too challenging for some.
Summary: Castello Tesino is a hidden gem and Rosa is a wonderful place to be your base and go exploring!
