Meadow View, situated in Chapel Stile, is one of a row of traditional Lakeland slate cottages built in the 19th century for local workers families.
It is cosy and is a well appointed, and has been fully refurbished in 2025 following a change of ownership.

The famous climbers inn The Old Dungeon Ghyll, New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel and Stickle Barn Tavern (now owned by the National Trust) are just up the Langdale Valley.
For those wishing to explore further afield, a bus stop is located at the end of the road. Buses are frequent and connect guests with the wider towns and outstanding scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
