Summary: Our recent stay at Winehill Villa was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the Cretan Sea and the breathtaking sunsets visible from the villa’s many outdoor spaces, particularly around the amazing pool area. The villa’s location in Chania was ideal for exploring Crete, as it provided easy access to beautiful destinations like the Samaria Gorge, Elafonisi, old town of Chania, and a variety of local beaches. The villa itself easily accommodated our family of seven, offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind and relax. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and our son, who is a chef, was able to prepare delicious family dinners on two occasions. On our last evening, we enjoyed a catered event in the outdoor dining area, which featured a large charcoal grill and seating for 12+ individuals. In fact, the villa boasts more than four outdoor dining areas, two of which are conveniently located by the pool, making them perfect for enjoying meals with a view. Speaking of the pool, it was a true highlight of the villa. We spent countless hours swimming and lounging by the water, all while soaking in the stunning panoramic views of the sea. The sound system added a fun touch, helping to set the perfect atmosphere, whether we were relaxing or having a family game of ping pong or splashing in the pool.
