Positive: We stayed two nights (and they were very accommodating about extending our stay when the roads were closed for weather) and enjoyed our little house. My husband found the bed, tucked in a nook, to be claustrophobic, but I liked its coziness. The kitchenette is well equipped with a fridge and cooktop, pot, pan, plates, cups, kettle and utensils, and the table and chairs served our purposes. We appreciated the ability to do laundry (for free, but it does take longer than a wash cycle in America does) and the check-in area is large for spreading out and having a place to go that is not your own tiny cabin, in case you need a change of space (or to buy drinks and snacks). We appreciated being able to park close to our cabin and walk to everything we wanted to see and do in Selfoss.
