Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Good location, near Glacier Point and Yosemite valley (20-30 minute drive). It does take about 10 minutes to drive from Highway 41 to the house which is a bit unfortunate but okay. The house was clean and had all the basics we needed for a few days stay. Nothing fancy but all the essentials are covered.
Negative: Because there was no wifi in the property (which had been disclosed during booking) access to the Internet was very spotty and it was difficult to communicate with the management company via txt messages. There is wifi available at their "business center" but outside of normal business hours the door is locked and you have to stand on someone else's driveway to connect to the wifi. Not ideal and the connection was not great. The house could use some upkeep. The outside could use a paint job and the grounds need some cleanup. Indoors was generally fine although the decor is quite dated. The main issue we had was that on the last day we couldn't open the door key lock. Fortunately, there was someone at the office and they drove over to open the door for us. It appeared that the key lock just malfunctioned. If it had happened in the middle of the night it would have been a much bigger issue.
