Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The neighborhood was peaceful and I was able to experience a very authentic Thai lifestyle in a small town in the country. The people in the neighborhood were very kind. The host was very responsive and accommodating. He gave drinking water weekly and cleaning service every 4 days. Great hospitality.

Negative: There were many stray dogs in the area. If you are afraid of dogs, you may not be comfortable walking the streets, but Grab is available. The apartment is further away from the central area of the town, so you will need some form of transportation. And last, a few bugs tend to find their way inside, so I had to spray often to keep them out. I talked to the host about it and I think some more insulation at the door will fix this problem.

Summary: Great place to stay in Chum Phae. Very peaceful area close to the Lotus's shopping center.
