Summary: St Patrick's Day is always a great time in East Dundee so we have been celebrating there for many years. The only downside was trying to find safe transportation home. This led to us looking for somewhere close to stay. Fortunately, we found the perfect location right in East Dundee. It has multiple parking spots on the back side of the building while the front side has a great balcony overlooking River St. It was the perfect spot to watch the parade as well as for some people watching throughout the weekend. The unit was clean and very cozy. It provided a spot for us to make a few meals as well as a great meetup spot when the downtown area was overly busy. The selfish side of me did not want to give a review to increase the likelihood it would be available for next year. If you are looking for a nice place to spend a weekend, this is it. If I had to guess there are at least 15 restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as a Dairy Queen and a frozen custard shop. If you enjoy the outdoors the Fox River Bike Trail is directly across the street. The trail is over 40 miles in length and runs from Aurora north into Algonquin. The combination of the nice unit mixed with such a great location I would definitely give it 5 stars and look forward to our next stay!
