Location description: La Punt Chamues-ch - The proud The old patricians already knew why they built their stately homes here: La Punt is strategically located at the foot of the former trade route over the Albula Pass. The former farming village of Chamues-ch, on the other hand, is sheltered at the entrance to the mysterious Chamois Valley, the Val Chamuera. Even today, people here are proud of the richly decorated farmhouses and stately patrician houses from the 16th and 17th centuries: the Chesa Merleda with its bright white battlements, the Albertini houses with their richly decorated façades or the imposing Chesa "Sandoz".
