Summary: I don’t normally give reviews, but felt a little more detail in the description could have avoided some disappointment. It did not clarify in the listing that it is part of a hotel, but not really part of the hotel, seemingly the only room with it’s own keypad entrance, so you don’t check in and the hotel staff treat you different as a result. It had a unique room in the bottom floor below the Lobby, no view, next to the pool with strong chlorine smell in hall, though smell in the room was ok. The room was fine as pictured. There was a wad of hair left in the shower, but otherwise clean. The host messaged close to check in and informed us of access cards to the hotel amenities, including the pool and work out area. But we learned, embarrassingly by trial and error, that the other activities of the hotel like the mini golf course, free to hotel guests, was not free to us since we didn’t check in like regular guests. It would just have been nice to have that clarified as opposed to learning the hard way. The area and site is amazing, wildlife, mountains, adorable small town main street just 5 minutes away. Just would have appreciated a little more full disclosure about the circumstances of the hotel and room.
