One of our larger homes, Zatara sleeps up to twelve in five bedrooms (two kings, two queens and four twins) and 3-½ baths. The spacious open kitchen and extensive granite countertops are functional for both meal preparation and entertaining, and two dining tables plus bar stools provide ample seating. Your home-away-from-home includes three flat screen TVs with cable, two DVD players, TV with X-box game system, CD/digital alarm clocks in each room, and Internet access.

Summary: I was fortunate enough to spend 30 days here during March/April 2023. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. We saw whales, dolphins, seals and otters from the balcony of the property. The view is just spectacular and includes amazing sunrises! It is directly across the street from the bay and 30 steps from the front door there is a walking path along the bay and tide-pools. The property is walk-able to the Pacific Ocean (Pt Pinos 1 mile), Pacific Grove Downtown (1 mile), Monterey Aquarium & Downtown (2 miles). Numerous restaurants and a really nice golf course (Pacific Grove Golf Links) are also within two miles. The property is nice for large groups, with four bedrooms, two baths & a garage with laundry on the ground level and the upper main floor has the kitchen, dining & greatroom (all connected) along with the master suite. There are two balconies facing the water and a private patio in the back. Condition is overall good, with a renovated kitchen, however the bathrooms appear to original. But, no worries as everything is functional and with the views, you will be spending most of your time on the balconies or in the greatroom. Another nice touch are the three gas fireplaces on the main floor for those foggy days or cool evenings. If you are looking for a excellent location in a place that sleeps a large group......Zatara is a great option!
