Welcome to the Red Roof Lodge in Durango! The home boasts over 4500 SF overlooking Haviland Lake and is steps away from San Juan National Forest right out the back door! Spectacular panoramic views of Engineer Mountain, Hermosa Cliffs & Haviland Lake. Quick and easy access off Highway 550, but yet totally private property on over 3 acres. This unique mountain cabin is situated on top of a north facing slope and is only 10 minutes to world class skiing at Purgatory, championship golf at Glacier Club and Dalton Ranch, and 20 minutes to Historic Downtown Durango. Included are 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, spacious great room with breathtaking views, huge game room loft and TV room with wet bar. All bedrooms have large closets and three have access to great decks. The great room's wood stove will heat the entire main level and loft. The main heated concrete deck was completely refurbished in 2020 and offers some of the most spectacular views in the world. The newly remodeled 1,500+ sf outdoor heated deck includes travertine stone pavers and sunken 8 person Jacuzzi hot tub with blue tooth surround sound, along with a Professional Lynx grill for cooking and entertaining/family enjoyment.
