Penllwyn is a four double bedroom traditional Welsh stone house situated in a elevated position in the centre of Harlech. The house boasts stunning views of Harlech Castle, the sea, Snowdonia, Tremadog Bay and the Llyn Peninsula.
Penllwyn has been completely renovated and offers two lounges, one with a wood burner and both with Smart TV's, both having wonderful views of the Castle and the sea. The spacious modern kitchen has a beautiful range cooker, integrated dishwasher and all other appliances you would need for a self-catering holiday. There are spectacular views of Mount Snowdon from the kitchen window. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer and an ideal place to store coats and boots.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed and en-suite bathroom the other with a double bed and en-suite shower room. The two remaining bedrooms, one twin and one double, are on the ground floor and share a bathroom with overhead shower.
All the furniture and fittings are new with luxury soft furnishings to give the house a rich warm feel .
Outside the garden has a wealth of wonderful planting and a table and chairs that seats eight, from where you can enjoy the stunning views, al fresco dining and spend evenings admiring the castle which is lit up at night.
Penllwyn is a few minutes walk to the castle, coffee shops, Grocers, Pubs and restaurants and other village shops.
The beach is a 5 minute drive away and there are a wealth of walks both on your doorstep and in the surrounding area.
Harlech is in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park famous for it's World Heritage listed castle, it has one of the steepest streets in the world and also boasts the internationally renowned Royal St. David's links golf course.
The seaside resorts of Barmouth and Criccieth are close by and Portmadog, with it's larger shops and Ffestiniog railway, is within easy reach. Portmeirion, the famous Italianate village is also close by.
There's also so much more to do, including cycling, pony trekking, paddle boarding, exploring the slate mines and the famous Zip World.
This location is ideal for exploring this part of North Wales all year round.
