Crisp and spacious. Comfortable and soothing. Exploring the Holland area has never been easier. Hop on your bike right outside the door and peddle your way 1.8 miles to the Holland State Park where you can see the iconic "Big Red" lighthouse, bask in the sugar sand beach along Lake Michigan, with the kids playing on the playset or building a sandcastle. You'll be sure to wind down your day with a beautiful sunset.
The large windows captivate each room. (We now have window treatments, so you have the choice of privacy or openness. The kitchen is beautifully designed to all of the cook of the family to prepare the meals with assistance utilizing the ample counter space. The dining area encompasses both a counter seating for two (2), and/ or a traditional dining for six (6) including a bench seat.
As your conversations meander outdoors, you can capture the comfort of the outdoor sofas and continue to share around the fire pit. There is ample seating for everyone in your group. Outdoor games can be played within the fenced yard. Enjoy your biking adventures though Holland. You can also bring the two (2) kayaks (paddles and standard life jackets included) from the garage and launch them at the end of the street. You can actually see the launch from the Waukazoo Woods Getaway driveway.
At the end of a fulfilling day, there are four (4) bedrooms, and two (2) bathrooms provide multiple sleeping opportunities in the king, queen or twin beds. There is a bathroom on each level, including an en suite in the main floor Master Bedroom, plus and a washer/dryer in the basement.
Spending time in the Holland area is a treat for visitors. This is a family-friendly place where being close to full-time residents, while being a part of a neighborhood, is both respected and cherished.

Pets: Two pets are allowed during your stay. Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we'll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.
