3 Bedroom Villa with Bedding, Internet and Kitchen

Fergiò villas is located in Santa Flavia, on the coast just a few meters from the sea and is the ideal place to spend your holidays, whether long or short, that are, in absolute relaxation and privacy, with private beach, only 18 km from Palermo And 2 Km from the Palermo-Catania motorway junction.
The entire villa, which is used by our guests, consists of an entrance with an electric gate, a large garden with trees, flowers and plants, the same garden equipped with sun loungers and armchairs to enjoy the freshness of the afternoon. There are also 2 very useful showers as the sea is just a few meters away, the house is also equipped with tables for dining outside and lounges to be able to stay comfortably out, including a sitting area on the terrace enjoying a wonderful view on the sea . Inside the living area we have a large living room with fireplace embellished with ancient Sicilian tiles and even here armchairs and sofas with flat screen television, a dining area and a winter garden with a stained glass roof that allows to see the stars too Inside the house. The sleeping area consists of 3 double bedrooms, one of which has a private terrace, with bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi tub, and a room with a single bed that can also become double if needed. The whole house is served by heat pumps that can make both cold and hot, of course also a wii-fii with wireless service.
The house is 2.5 km from the delightful villages of Santa Flavia and Casteldaccia where you can find everything you need for everyday life and also shopping.
With the nearby motorway it is easy to visit Palermo, Agrigento and the temples valley, Madonie Park, Trapani, Marsala and all the important destinations of our beautiful Sicily.

Summary: The house sits between a fairly busy road and a beautiful bay. The view from the back is amazing, with mountains across the water.The kitchen is adequately equipped and the fair-sized garden drips with oleander and bougainvillea. There is plenty of furniture for sitting, eating and lounging outside. One of the double bedrooms has a large balcony, which overlooks the bay. It also has air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. The other has the road at window level, about 30 metres away; no aircon and a separate shower room. We found a somewhat ancient fan downstairs, which made sleep possible; earplugs also helped. Only the nicer bedroom had sheets when we arrived; spare linen was in a trunk on the landing. The house is about 45 minutes’ drive from Palermo airport . Our flight was late and we didn’t arrive till after10pm. Corrado was waiting at the house and even came out onto the road, so we could find it when that proved a little tricky. He had done the shopping we’d requested and showed us round, explaining keys and how to open gates to the property. We had no problems with the wi-fi, washing machine, electricity or water while we were there. The water reservoir needs to be filled, using a hosepipe, every couple of days, which was less of a problem than might be imagined. What was a faff was having to take one’s sorted-out rubbish to a facility a kilometre up the road between 7 and 10 in the morning on different days for different waste. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance and the busyness of the road made walking along it inadvisable, anyway. The location was good for exploring Palermo and other, smaller local towns, although getting in and out of the shared drive could be quite a challenge. The garden was a pleasant place for relaxing, if one wanted to stay ‘at home’ for the day. The little beach is not great. It is possible to get into the sea from a concrete jetty, but it is shallow, with lots of water-weed growing on the bottom. Lovely clear water, though. A word of warning: if leaving earlyish, you may need to unlock a padlock on the gates at the end of the shared drive. Don’t leave the keys locked inside the house on the last day until you know you can get out onto the road! Corrado’s English is good and he was concerned we had a good time. We would recommend Corrado as host and Sicily as a destination. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
