Positive: Fabulous house, secure gated property. Clean & modern with ethnic furnishings. For us a perfect location to explore beaches, mountains, nature reserves. Kitchen had almost everything we required for a three week stay in January. Hosts purchased items requested (chopping boards & garden seat cushions) very accommodating. Master bedroom - Enormous bed & all beds so comfortable. Would 100% stay again. Quiet neighbours all around property & not intrusive in any way. Found it easier to reach Calpe by going right out of gates (check Sat nav for route) just an fyi! We liked be away from the main town but it’s easy to go to. Great little bakery (closed mon/tues) & small supermarket on road CV-745 @ Casa bernardi Beach @ Oliva fabulous for long walks (dogs welcome out of season) Moraira town lovely place & beach/cove platja del portet de Moraira on far side just beautiful for swimming.
Negative: We had a couple of small issues, bad smell in en-suite shower (host tried to resolve unsuccessfully during our visit, I’m sure it would be resolved after, as response when we pointed out was immediate to try to help) Door to en-suite doesn’t shut so difficult to stop smell spreading! As just two people we used main bathroom downstairs so not a major issue. This would not prevent us staying again as property is amazing in every other respect! Information guide for property & area would be most useful (emergency numbers etc) places to visit!
Summary: Great place to stay, highly recommended & didn’t want to leave!
