This beautiful studio space is attached to the owner’s house (property was built as a duplex) and has its own separate entrance. It is furnished with an eclectic blend of antiques, art and functional furniture. If you like to cook for yourself, it has a fantastic kitchen.
Located in a farming community, it is situated at the end of a country lane with very little traffic. Though it feels far away, it is close to Taos town center.

Summary: This was by far the best VRBO I've rented. It is perfectly decorated with an elegant, welcoming farmhouse feeling situated on a gorgeous piece of pastoral land. Very quiet, with the sounds of nature coming in the screened windows and doors. I was attending a painting workshop in Taos. It was a 15 minute drive to town. I found myself wanting to just hang out at the casita, lolling on the daybed in the kitchen, instead of going to the workshop! The owner, Elaine, was lovely, gracious, and so helpful. She even has a little wagon to put your luggage in so that you can roll it to the side of the house where you enter. This is the perfect place to experience the magic of Northern New Mexico. I'm really looking forward to staying here again.
