THE HOUSE:
So much more than just a lake house, exposed beams and vaulted shiplap ceilings await your crew at newly refurbished Huckleberry’s Cove. Prepare breakfast in a fully stocked kitchen with a coffee cart, then enjoy meals around a large table in front of a panoramic window with views of the water and mountains beyond. Make your way down to the serene private dock located in a small cove, perfect for swimming, fishing, and using the provided two kayaks. Explore nearby jumping cliffs and rope swings or cruise on over to several marinas within a 15 minute boat ride! Tie up your boat after a fun filled day on Norris Lake and head back up the house for some dinner on the large two story deck. Fire up the grill and have a seat around the covered outdoor dining area or take your food to the upper level for dinner with a view and a propane fire table. Then, as the sun goes down, cozy up around the firepit for some ghost stories and s'mores before relaxing in the brand new memory foam mattresses throughout.

THE AREA:
The house is located less than half a mile drive by car or boat to Hickory Star Marina. The marina offers zero ethanol gas at the dock, boat rentals, and a full store with just about anything you need. Hickory Star Marina also features a restaurant on the water called Arjay's with great food, drinks and live music every weekend! If you want to venture out, Maynardville is a 10 minute drive through beautiful country roads. Maynardville is a quiet small southern town nestled in a valley with plenty of restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and even a brand new splash pad! For even more adventures, Knoxville is less than 45 minutes away from your place. Offering a vibrant downtown, UT sporting events, concerts, and world class outdoor adventures. Going the other direction, its a short hop up I-75 to some of the best off roading in the country so bring your four-wheelers, dirt bikes, or side-by-sides and get muddy for a day!

THE PROPERTY:
The house is located in a small two dead end street neighborhood with very little traffic. There is ample parking for several vehicles and trailers at the house. The property extends from the house down the hill all the way to the water where the dock sits, we are installing stairs this winter directly down the hill, or you can walk around on the road or just drive! There is a gravel parking area right at the dock that will fit three cars. Golf carts and side-by-sides are a common sight in the area and you are welcome to bring yours with you!

THE OWNERS:
We are Tommy and Lauren and we are so excited to be able to host your group at our new lakehouse! We have one son, JB, and our 100 lb mutt, Huckleberry, who we named the house after. We are locals to East Tennessee so we know the area and absolutely LOVE IT! We want to share the perfect pairing of natural beauty and a slower paced, friendlier way of life that you can only find here. We love Norris Lake just as much as you will and spend much of our summers on the water. This is our only rental and we go out of our way to make sure your stay is as close to perfect as we can make it! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests and we’ll do whatever we can to make it happen! While you stay with us we are only 30 minutes away if you need anything but are happy to leave you be to spend time with friends and family uninterrupted.
