Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was excellent. The village is beautiful and made a good stop for us in a long journey.

Negative: We chose a room in an associated house rather than the main hotel as it was cheaper. The lady on the desk wasn’t a fluent English speaker and we were under the impression we had the whole house. It was then strange to find someone else’s washing up in the kitchen. We chose our room and only a few hours later when we heard other guests did it become apparent that we didn’t have the whole house and were actually in the wrong room but couldn’t change as by that time we had used the shower and the towels etc. As we were in the wrong room we couldn’t lock the door and it was all very awkward. Our key did say number 4 but to be fair the house was number 4 on the street so we just thought that was the house number. That could have been made clearer as it was very disconcerting to be in a room we couldn’t lock with other people in the house. Aside from that, the bed was very comfortable and the food was excellent.
