Summary: We needed a property to stay at that would allow us to have our dog stay with us. The property was great in that respect. The property was clean and did not smell like other owners who had dogs there previously. It was actually more room than we needed. The primary bedroom has a queen bed. The other bedroom had two single beds. There is a large loft that would basically be used for children. The kitchen was well appointed although some of the pans could be updated. It has a big deck for the dog. The wifi was good but we had no cell coverage (Consumer Cell).The location is great just four homes away from the point/lighthouse. The views are actually better than how the web site presents. It's not far from Port Clyde - get your lobsters there! The downside was that we could not get the TV to work or the newly installed split heat/ac system to work. The owners son was at the main house and he tried to get both to work. With not any success. He said they would simplify the TV and they needed to get the contractor back in for the heat/ac. He was really nice and did everything he could to get it working! There is also no gas grill. They have a charcoal grill downstairs. Overall I would recommend the place. The view was great and the place was just what we needed for our week away.
