The house respectful with the environment, located on the outskirts of San Cristobal de La Laguna. 30 minutes walk from the bus station, 7 minutes drive from TF Norte airport. Located in rural area, surrounded by orchards. The site is very quiet, cars just pass by.
There is parking right in front.
The electrical energy of the house is provided by a photovoltaic and wind installation, the energy consumption being limited to 3 Kwh during clear days and 1.6 kwh at night and cloudy days.
The water is heated with a solar thermal collector. There is an electric boiler that I put into service on cloudy days or on demand of the guests. The water used in the shower is recycled, for the use of the toilet. Rainwater is used to irrigate the garden and all the organic matter in the kitchen is recycled, transforming it into earthworm to fertilize the soil. It is also recycled, the rest of the garbage in its corresponding container.
Guests have access to all common areas inside the house and outside; to the roof, the solarium and the garden.
For pets there is a room with access to the roof where you can stay and feed. Outside the house there are many orchards where to walk them, especially if they are dogs.
If I can and you want, when you arrive in Tenerife I could pick you up at the TF North airport or at the La Laguna bus terminal,

Being in a rural area, the nearest supermarket is 2.5km away, the bakery and the pharmacy are closer. I make available to guests who wish an electric bicycle with saddlebags, to go shopping, only in the area of the Barrens.

The house is 30 minutes walk from the bus station of La Laguna and the tram line.
If you come from the bus terminal of La Laguna the most practical (especially if you bring luggage) is to take a taxi. I recommend it to you. It costs between 4 to € 5 to the house.
If you want to come by bus, there are two lines to get home. Line 056 (every hour, check schedules on Saturday, Sundays and holidays) that runs along San Francisco de Paula Street. Get off at the stop of the sports city of Tenerife and then walk about 600 meters down to home. Its price per person is € 1.45 in cash or € 1.15 with bonus.
And line 055 (approximately every 30 minutes, check schedules on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) that goes along the San Miguel de Geneto road. Get off at the stop where the Paybo bread factory is passing, then walk about 450 meters uphill to home (NOTE when you are climbing you will have to cross the Camino La Feria through an orchard). Its price per person is € 1.45 in cash or € 1.15 with bonus.
To get from the TF North airport, the most practical thing is to take a taxi home. I recommend it, it costs between € 8 to € 10. If you want to come by bus, you have to take lines 102 - 107 or 108 to the bus terminal of La Laguna. Its price per person is € 2.45 in cash and € 2.15 with bonus.
