Get to know our charming town house, built around 1780. It served for many decades in the 19th and 20th Century as a dye works in the middle of the old cloth town of Monschau. The historic house with its traditional charm is located in the middle of the old town in the heart of Monschau, just opposite the Troistorff house, our mother house.
It has been extensively renovated over the past two years - the preservation of historical monuments has been considered down to the smallest detail. In view of the existing building structure, we mainly used one building material for the renovation: clay. The material that the builders of the house already knew and used in 1780. The Cologne blankets and an exposed wallpaper as original in the 1st You will be enchanted on the first floor with their very special flair. A carefully restored staircase leads from the first floor to the upper floors.
