This fantastic holiday home is situated in a peaceful holiday park in Egmond aan den Hoef, in the province of North-Holland. With an indoor space of 110 m2, a large garden and within a short walking and cycling distance of the dunes and the beach, it is an ideal holiday location.
The perfect place to enjoy your holiday on the Dutch coast. Relish the long stretch of sandy beach, amazing sand dunes, the beautiful forest and of course the vibrant town of Egmond. You can cycle, mountain bike, walk, run and relax on the beach or just spend time in the lovely house and garden.
Egmond is an ideal base from which to explore the North of Holland. The towns of Bergen, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Haarlem and of course Amsterdam are all nearby.
Home
The house is located on a small recreational park, in which some houses are permanently inhabited. Since there are no facilities on the park, it remains wonderfully quiet and tranquil. If you are looking for a bit more hustle and bustle, the centre of Egmond is nearby. A large supermarket with fresh produce is 1.5 km away.
This is a wonderful house for all four seasons. In the spring and summer, you can enjoy the sunny garden and the garden room. The centrally located fireplace is visible from both the living room and garden room, which makes it very cosy in the autumn and winter. Adjoined to the living room is the garden room and its sliding doors can be opened in good weather. The garden room is a nice space to relax in; read a book, watch TV and always having a view of the garden. It is also perfect if your kids want to have a bit of space away from the adults.
The kitchen has a large dining table with six chairs. The cooking area has a 6-burner stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge. There is a freezer in the utility room, which is adjoined to the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, utensils, dishes cutlery and glasses. There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer and a Nespresso machine at your disposal.
The house sleeps 6 adults and a baby and has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large double bed. The remaining bedrooms contain each two single beds. All bedrooms have sloping sides, because of the dormer windows and due to the high ceiling, they are very spacious. There is a desk on the first floor, a second one is available on request. The bathroom has a separate shower, bath, sink and toilet.
Children
For the children there are several toys and board games available for them to use. We also have available a highchair and travel cot. Just let us know in advance, if you need these and we will ensure that it is ready upon arrival. Next to the house is a playing field, that is accessible through a door in the fence.
Garden
The house stands on more than 300 m2 of land and the garden is fully sheltered and enclosed with both possibilities for sun and shade. From early in the morning, you can enjoy the first rays of sun in the lovely relaxing lounge chairs. On the two sun beds you can relax and sunbathe and, in the evening, you can dine out in the garden at the large garden table. The lawn is perfect for children to play on.
Miscellaneous
Due to the quiet nature of the park, parties and groups of young people are not allowed in the house. There are two parking spaces adjoined to the the house and nearby you can find a communal parking area.
