Summary: What a little gem to stay at ! I booked Primrose quite by chance for a three day off season stay. The staff were like family. Kind, warm accommodating. The chefs were amazing. The rooms, spotless, and the stay was like a coming home. We arrived super late around 11 pm. Anna called us around 7 to make sure we know all the restaurants in town will be closed by the time we get there and we may need to eat before getting to Bar Harbor. We had a swift check in and were offered a glass of wine and slipped into comfortable bed with good mattress ( thanks heavens for that mattress!). From that point everything was nice and swift. And what a great time to visit Bar Harbor if you are mainly going for the nature, hikes, and meditation , and not the crowd, I highly recommend first weeks of November!
