Positive: We loved our week here at The Old Smithy! Our group was 5 adults and 1 child and 2 small dogs, we had enough room and all felt comfortable. The house was clean and welcoming, and so well equipped; it was easy to cook in the kitchen, find extra towels, lots of cleaning items, even spare beach spades and dog leads. Nothing was missing! A lovely bottle of prosecco and chocolates as a gift on arrival was appreciate. It was easy to find the keys. We managed to get our car in the yard. The location is really great - right on the shopping street. You can wake up and nip for a coffee or to the bakery, go get sausages from the butchers, or buy some freshly caught fish for breakfast. Everything is in reach, even a DIY shop. We enjoyed walking around the shopping huts and harbours, walking up and down the coast, a walk into Warkworth. There's lots of lovely places to eat out, and equally any kind of takeaway you might want on the doorstep too as well as a tesco express. We felt the price was great for what you got. We'd definitely return.

Negative: Nothing really. It smelt a bit damp when we got there but it soon aired out. We did notice that the property was up for sale; we don't like the idea that we might not be able to book again haha. If we could buy it ourselves we would do.
