Positive: The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean
Negative: I cannot with a clear conscience recommend The Moats. The garden was overgrown, and whilst we didn’t have time to sit out we did have to fight our way through it to get to the dedicated access to our room. The spare quilt had coffee stains. The host has obviously had some setbacks recently but discussing all too personal details made breakfast more than a little uncomfortable…it definitely wasn’t worth what we paid.
Summary: Lovely part of the world but this has seen better days
