Surrounded by natural bushland you are guaranteed to enjoy your stay. Situated 5min from Cessnock & 15min Pokolbin you are perfectly placed to enjoy the property, shops, wineries, restaurants & the many attractions of the Hunter Valley.
Prepare to fall in love with this 1970’s inspired unique property, with a groovy vibe throughout. As you enter its hard to miss the raked ceilings and gas log fire in the living room. The huge eat in kitchen has everything you need with a communal eating area.
Enter the rear lower level where you will find a groovy retreat with bar and lounge area at one end and at the other the dining area with enough room for everyone. Prefer to enjoy the outdoors. The rear deck has seating for all, BBQ, and even a firepit for those cooler months. The kids will love the grassed area to run around and play.
- 5 BEDROOM HOUSE – (all with Queen beds and storage. Master bedroom also has a single bed and trundle) 3 rooms are found to the left as you enter the hallway and the other 2 are off the games room.
- Entertainers kitchen with gas cooking facilities and communal eating area.
- Games room off of the kitchen, with games for the kids, readers nook, and even chess for the adults.
- All bedrooms are themed and have, storage, portable heaters, and 4 have ceiling fans. So make sure you find the one that fits your style.
- The master bedroom boasts ensuite with toilet and vanity, reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fan.
- Master bedroom has a single bed and trundle along with a queen size bed. All other bedrooms have a queen bed only.
- Large family bathroom with shower and bath in one, 2 toilets and large vanity. Extra shower can be found off the hallway so there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready.
- Covered parking off the main road, or park around the back in the garage via the rear laneway.
- 2.5 hour's drive from Sydney, 15-mins to Hunter Valley wineries and restaurants.

As ‘The Groovy Grape’ is in a residential area, we have a strict 'No parties or Events' policy and ask that all guests respect the neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, particularly at night.
Guests have access to the whole house. The garden shed is not available for guests use. In the garage the storage room in there is off limits too.
Kitchen contains basic items for guests (tea, coffee, cling wrap etc.). Milk is not supplied as everyone's preferences are different. There are shops close by for you to be able to purchase items from.
Whilst there are ash trays throughout the property, these are keeping with the 70's theme and not to be used as ash trays. The property is a 'No Smoking' property.
**No pool/beach towels are supplied. You will need to bring your own.
