Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Clean and well styled.
Negative: The lack of onsite staff made the hotel feel like a ghost town. The virtual interactions via text were impersonal. There was a bar/lounge area, but because there was no staff it felt like trespassing going in there. The other issue was that upon check out, I asked to leave my car in the mostly empty parking lot for a couple hours to have lunch in the area and visit local businesses. I was told that was not allowed. Any other hotel I’ve stayed in with a staff would have probably said, “no problem,” since they don’t have check-ins until late afternoon. This was a small inconvenience, but ultimately shows me that the proprietor doesn’t really care about supporting local businesses or the community which just added to the impersonal vibe of an unstaffed hotel.
Summary: It was fine if you just want a room.
