From the port of Acitrezza, a small fishing town, famous for its magnificent sea stacks (which, according to legend, were launched by the giant Polyphemus) it is possible to board the boats to make beautiful excursions to Taormina and Lachea Island, or to enjoy the incomparable natural heritage of our seas in absolute safety, with the expert guide of marine biologists, thanks to the special glass-bottomed boats. From Piazza delle Scuole in Acitrezza (400 meters from the entrance of the Residence) it is also possible to take the hop on hop off tourist bus with a guide to Catania or in the direction of Etna.
