Summary: This property was perfect for our family gathering. The pictures do not do the size of this house justice. Ample, well-maintained space for 8 adults to stay (it can accommodate more with the owner's approval) Beautiful outdoor deck/garden overlooking the American River with enough seating for our extended family to come over for dinner. Kitchen was functional, large enough for 3 of us to prep and cook without getting in each other's way. It is a quiet, secluded property with mature trees and landscaping on the bluff overlooking the river. We had deer, racoons, squirrels and birds to watch in the early morning and evening. It's a nice walk through the neighborhood to the foot bridge. Parking in the driveway is enough for four cars or more. Things to be mindful of: the kitchen is stocked with the bare minimum. No bakeware, sheet pans, mixer, blender, linens, etc. There is a coffee pot, air fryer and toaster on the counter. Plan accordingly. Limited plates and cups. We brought paper, so that helped. One bath towel per guest is provided, but there is a nice laundry room to compensate. Finishings and furniture are dated, but clean, comfortable and well maintained. The noise from Sunrise Blvd bridge below is LOUD during rush hour. All other times it is noticeable, but not obnoxious. The owner was very responsive to our messages and provided check in details on the day of arrival. If our circumstances were the same, we would definitely stay here again, it was perfect for our group
