Summary: The description on the website "A few steps from the veranda there is the sea" is misleading. There are many, many steep steps down from the apartments to the very busy road which you have to cross and walk along until you find more steps that lead down to a beach. It is a steep walk back to the apartments. Photos on the website are very flattering and show the best side only, of the development. Near to the apartments is a large hotel which plays loud music from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and beyond, every day. If you are seeking peace and quiet, this is not for you! The apartment itself had a very nice bathroom and the shower was good. Whilst towels were provided, they were not changed during our 10-day stay, neither was the bed linen. The beds actually felt quite damp and inadequately aired for our stay. The kitchen was adequate but not very clean. We felt we had to wash everything before using it, including all surfaces which were sticky, also a mouldy frying pan. The sandwich maker was very dirty, so we did not attempt to use it and there was no separate toaster. Everything smelled very musty and a bit damp. The apartment felt as if it had not been cleaned since last season. The air conditioning unit was dripping dirty brown water on to the dressing table and floor, so we stopped using the a/c for fear of contamination. The location is convenient for restaurants, of which there are many but this obviously makes it a busy, busy place. Most of the reviews on the website are old, dating back to 2012 and in languages other than English. Very unhelpful when booking through an English written website.
