We love pets here at Quails Nest, but to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, we have a few guidelines: 2-pet limit: Please let us know if you're bringing your furry friends, there is a $50 fee. When your pets need to relieve themselves, please take them outside the patio area and do NOT let them use the back porch to do their business (guests will be charged for any messes in this area). For the safety of your pets and to keep our home clean, please don't leave them unattended on the porch or inside the house. If you need to leave your pets, please use the provided crate for their safety and comfort. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines.
Enjoy cozy evenings in the living room, featuring comfortable couches, a large TV, and a warm fireplace. The open floor plan seamlessly flows into the dining area and kitchen, creating a welcoming and inviting space. *The rug in the living room is taped down, so PLEASE DO NOT attempt to move it. Thank you.
Indulge your inner chef in the modern kitchen. With brand new appliances and cookware, a charming farmhouse sink, counter seating and an expandable table that can seat six, you'll have everything you need to create memorable meals.
The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a shower, and private patio access. Enjoy the hot tub just outside your door.
Bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed, closet, nightstands, and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with Bedroom 3.
Bedroom 3 also has a queen-size bed, closet, nightstands, and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with Bedroom 2.
The shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom is a full bathroom.
After a day of exploring the red cliffs, freshen up your clothes and your furry companion in our convenient laundry room. Located just off the garage (but accessed from inside the house), it features a full-sized washer and dryer, as well as an indoor dog wash.
For your convenience, a half bathroom is located near the living room and kitchen.
The two-car garage is available for guest use and must be accessed from inside the house (no garage door code will be given).
Step outside onto the back patio and enjoy the stunning red rock views. Your pets will love exploring the large, fenced-in yard. Enjoy outdoor dining on the gas BBQ, relaxing by the fire pit table, or soaking in the hot tub under the starry sky.
Guest Access:
Our guests will have full access to the home, 2 car garage, patios and backyard. A door code will be given prior to check in for easy and convenient access.
The Neighborhood:
Quails Nest is located in the peaceful Cedar Heights subdivision, near the red rock cliffs and minutes from downtown Kanab.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.

For pet owners, we have a gray and white checkered dog blanket in the master closet. Please use it to protect the sofa from your furry friends.
To prevent the hot tub cover from falling and breaking, always secure it with the metal clip as shown in the photos and welcome binder. When you lift the cover, the metal arm will be at a 90 degree angle. Remove the clip from it's position and insert it at the corner of the brace (refer to photos). Thanks!
