Positive: We paid RM1212 for a two-day stay, and I don't think it was worth it for this house. The host requested a deposit of RM400 one week before check-in, which I believe is excessive; 1 or 2 days before should be sufficient. I informed the host that I would pay the deposit upon check-in, after ensuring the house met our expectations based on past experiences of my family members. The host immediately expressed discomfort with our booking and asked if we wanted to cancel. When we inquired about how we would get our money back, the host did not respond. I believe RM400 is too much for this house. The rooms were clean, though one room had only curtains instead of a door, which we were not informed about. While the house and bedsheets were clean, the bathroom, although odorless, looked dirty with yellow stains around the tap and sink and looked like public toilet. The host should have better monitored the cleaners’ work. There were also too many rules and regulations the host sent us a long list of conditions to agree to, which should have been included in the booking details. We only learned about these after making the payment. Overall, our experience was not pleasant, although they refunded my deposit within 24 hours.
