Sitting in a tranquil spot off a quiet country lane, ‘Sedge House’ is a semi-detached, three-bedroom sustainable home, moments from the Minsmere Nature Reserve in the rural village of Eastbridge.
Built to Passivhaus Institute Low Energy Principals, this reverse-level contemporary home is close to the coast, RSPB Nature Reserve, Dunwich Forest and only a five minute walk from an award-winning local pub, The Eels Foot Inn. There are a handful of excellent local restaurants, high quality farm shops and regular farmers’ markets all within close proximity. There are lovely country walks from the property, the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors and plenty of off-road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels.
Owing to the upside down arrangement of the property, all the three gorgeous bedrooms including ensuite master bedroom are located on the ground floor. There is a family bathroom plus a separate cloakroom on this floor.
Onto the first floor, the property then opens up into an impressive and contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner area with a vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows which draws copious amounts of light into the interior. Doors open out onto a south-facing balcony offering stunning views out to the fields beyond.
