Situated at 640m altitude, it benefits from cool evening breezes in summer. It is accessed by a country road in good condition. Less than a 10 minute drive from the lively working village of Gaucin, with its many restaurants and bars, charming village festivals, a thriving artistic community, and the gorgeous castle with a 360º view of the area.
The two-story house is a recent renovation of an agricultural building, with a variety of outdoor living spaces! Stone floors throughout, 3 terraces, 2 wood-burning stoves, ample firewood, lovely natural gardens. Ground floor: kitchen/dining room, fireplace, covered porch with outdoor living area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, utility porch w/ washing machine. First floor: Living room with flatscreen TV & wireless internet, sofa-bed, 2 spacious terraces, 1 bedroom (queen) with lovely view of Gaucin, en suite bathroom.
A rental car is recommended. During the rainy season, 4 wheel drive is recommended.
Trips can be arranged to Seville, Granada and Cádiz/Tarifa.
Pick up from and delivery to the Malaga or Gibraltar airports can also be arranged.
