Summary: With the beach access being right across the street, you couldn’t ask for a better location! The view from the balcony is amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a great spot to drink coffee and watch the sun rise. We even got to see a shuttle launch from the Kennedy Space Center right from the balcony. The beach and pool were never busy. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, and there’s plenty to do in Ormond beach, or it’s just a short drive to Daytona. But honestly, sitting on the beach and watching the surfers was entertainment enough for us. The pool is bigger and deeper than anticipated, our kids loved being able to dive for toys. There’s a convenient outside shower to wash off the sand before going inside or into the pool. They provide beach chairs, towels, pool toys, and a cooler. There is a beach umbrella, but it was broken so we didn’t take it with us. They also provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and coffee which is a nice additional amenity. The laundry room is just down stairs and easy to get to. It takes 8 quarters per wash, and 8 per dry, so plan accordingly if you plan to do laundry. Even while she was out of the country, the host was easy to communicate with. Checking in and out was a breeze! We may not be able to stay here again, unfortunately, just because our kids don’t do well sharing a room. But if we ever get to take a solo vacation without kids, this will be the first place we book!
