THE CIVILIZED: The private 3 cars driveway leads to a top to bottom thoroughly remodeled 3 bedrooms two baths house with stunning views from each and every window or sliding door. First floor: A kitchen, living and dining rooms with cathedral ceilings, and a travertine bathroom. Italian tiles throughout. Wrap-around deck with mountain and forest views. Ground floor: The hallway leads to 2 very large bedrooms and a bedroom/lounge study with a barn door that opens to a brick patio and a Zen garden. Every indoor or outdoor space is dedicated to enticing peace, relaxation, and creativity. Alampata estate is the perfect spot to go inward and or replenish physical and mental stamina. Well-paved access roads and escape routes, which is a real bonus. A very friendly and welcoming neighborhood. THE VILLAGE: Topanga Festivals, open sky Theater, farmer's market, restaurants, post office, library, coffee shops, yoga studios, hairdresser, art and fashion boutiques... One does not have to leave Topanga to enjoy the city delights with an additional touch of unique mountain village charm. THE WILD: There are enough trails and special areas in our estate to satisfy the yogi, thinker, or dreamer who does not want to go through strenuous physical efforts in order to experience the touch of the wild. The wild fauna and flora for nature lovers. We love our land and feel blessed to share its very unique personality with guests and visitors. Our house has welcomed environmentalists, scholars, honeymooners, convalescents, and inspired writers and hosted silent retreats as well as private seminars. Our house is smart and its temperature can be monitored via the internet. The remodeling has been done with love and attention to detail and we hope you will appreciate the craftsman touch. Fast internet, LCD screen in the living room. We will do our best to make your stay memorable. We are living close enough for help, should you need any, but far enough to allow you total privacy. Use water sparingly as we are in drought territory and so conserving water resources is a must. No noise after 10 pm. No use of air conditioning with windows and or doors left open. Oh... our house is a no-shoes house. Respect for wildlife. It is a grace to live so close to Los Angeles yet to have the privilege of encountering the "locals". From lizards to deer, coyotes, squirrels, bobcats, hummingbirds, birds of prey and other fellow winged... to only name a few. Please use the outdoor shower to rinse the sand when coming from the beach . For the land and the living around, our house comes with eco-friendly cleaning products, whether for the dishwasher, the washing machine, or other cleaning necessities. We love pets and all animals but for the respect of those who are allergic to dogs or cat hair, pets are not allowed. No Parties with exceptions on a one-to-one basis. Cigarettes are neither permitted indoors nor outdoors. No candles. No open fires, due to the year around fire danger. Our home is for the enjoyment of guests only.
