Long-term stays are very welcome, but for 28 days or longer management must manually remove the SD taxes from your payment plan and send you a new payment plan for you to approve and pay!! This is an easy process, which takes just a few minutes. There is no SD Sales Tax for extended stays. If there are any questions, please ask.
PETS ARE WELCOME: There is a flat pet fee of $145 to bring your dog (a better bargain than leaving your furry one at home). DOGS ONLY, please. Please let us know if you have more than 1 dog for approval. Read the pet addendum toward the end of the attached rental agreement, then drop us a note telling us about your furry family member(s). Additional fees may apply for multiple pets. IF you are highly allergic to dogs, note that we take great care to thoroughly clean after each guest (whether they have dogs or not), but if you are hyper-allergic, you may wish to book a home which is advertised as completely pet free.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES HOOKUP $40 PER NIGHT (motor homes, 5-wheels and pulled trailers) are welcome. We have room for two RVs. (RV electrical hookup price is $40 per night). We have one conveniently placed 50-Amp receptacle (convertible to 30-Amp) as well as other 110V AC receptacles. Please notify the manager if you are bringing an RV and read the entire rental agreement for more information. Manager will need to send you a separate payment request (invoice) for RV hookups.
Very private, with 5 spacious acreage, set back from the road. 2 blocks from Highway 385, 3/4 mile south of Custer. Highly convenient, central location for day trips anywhere in the Black Hills. 3 bedrooms (one downstairs, two up) all have queen size beds. Additional sleeping space also in the upstairs loft, where you can sleep two on a full-sized sofa/futon. Main floor bathroom is handicapped accessible with spacious double basins, and includes a full size washer and dryer. Shower has a low step in for handicap access, grab rails. Master bath toilet is higher, with grab bars. No bathtubs currently. Second full bathroom (with shower) is off attached garage/shop just a few steps away. Second bathroom does not have grab bars or handicapped toilet. Electric appliances in kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, K-cup brewer and additional perk coffee pot. Huge, attached enclosed garage with parking for multiple vehicles, for protection from hail and thunderstorms. Small pasture adjacent to home for your horses (currently not fenced). Covered patio and house-length covered porch with rocking chairs and bench seating, outsized picnic table under porch shelter. Weber Gas BBQ (propane included). Depending on the season, lots of deer and turkeys on the property. Linens provided. This is a pet friendly property, but there is an extra charge for pets. Please contact us ahead of time regarding horses. Quiet and clean. Please look at the satellite view on the location tab to get a good feel for how the home and property are laid out. Road to the property from US 385 is around 1/4 mile of good grade, gravel road, with a paved gravel driveway into the property.

Custer and the Custer State Park: 6-7 minutes; Wind and Jewel Cave National Parks: 19 minutes; Mount Rushmore National Monument: 30 minutes; Crazy Horse Memorial: 15 Minutes; Sturgis, South Dakota: 80 minutes; Badlands National Park and Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming: Under 2 hours to both; Mammoth Site in Hot Springs: 40 minutes; Evan's Plunge Mineral Springs in Hot Springs: 35 minutes and many more.
In addition to these, there are numerous other attractions, such as Bear Country, Reptile Gardens, 1880 Train Ride between Hill City and Keystone and many others.
