With nearly 5,000 SF of living space, your family and friends can gather in multiple living areas or retreat to your own space to read a book or take a nap. Off the Hook is a stunning 3 level home with 5 bedrooms + Bunk Room and 4.5 baths furnished with 5 queen beds, 1 full bed, 2 twin beds, 1 bunk bed, and a sleeper sofa to sleep up to 16 comfortably.
Begin your day watching the sunrise from the 4-season room while sipping your morning cup of coffee. This sunroom leads to an expansive, open-air deck with ample seating including lounge chairs and a gas fire table for your outdoor living. Kids of all ages will love splashing and cooling off in the private above-ground swimming pool after a competitive round of cornhole, spike ball and other yard games that are provided.
Meal preparation is a breeze in the well-stocked gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances including a double oven. Breakfast bar seating, along with a kitchen table and adjacent dining room table make every meal a family affair.
Complementing the amazing outdoor space, Off the Hook’s gathering areas include an expansive living room, a family room open to the kitchen, and a finished lower-level family room; each with its own gas fireplace and TV. The lower level boasts a bar and kitchen area w/ a second refrigerator that makes creating appetizers and cocktails for movie or game night easy and accessible. We've even added a foosball table for the indoor sports/gaming enthusiasts.
Outdoor traditions continue while making s’mores and watching the stars by the campfire patio which is located far enough from the house so as not to disturb the neighbors or the little ones who are early to bed.
After a fun-filled day, relax in one of the many comfy beds which will envelop you as you drift away into a deep sleep, in preparation for the next day’s adventures. In addition to a main floor bedroom with en suite bathroom and stand-up shower for those who prefer no stairs, the generous primary bedroom with fireplace and TV, also has an en suite bathroom with an enormous shower and soaking tub. 3 additional upstairs bedrooms share a main bathroom with dual sinks and a separate tub/shower room. A favorite sleeping area is the lower level bunk room with queen bed, double bed, and bunk set plus a secret play area for the little ones….shhhh!
While many guests comment that they never want to leave Off the Hook, a day of frolicking in Lake Michigan’s waves and collecting beach glass is a highlight, with South Beach or Deerlick Creek Park less than 5 mins away. For the shopping-lovers, downtown South Haven boasts one-of-a-kind shops featuring local treasures, along with fine dining and casual outdoor options, and seasonal events like: Harborfest, Art Fairs, National Blueberry Festival, and outdoor concerts.
