Once part of a stable block, Pippinwell is a simply stunning barn conversion sleeping eight.
Located just outside the historic market town of Bakewell, Pippinwell is one of a hamlet of ten award-winning cottages on gated grounds at Haddon Grove Farm.
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park, the cottages are set amongst three acres of beautiful private countryside with views over Lathkill Dale. Each cottage is perfectly set up for a family friendly break with fabulous facilities on-site including an indoor swimming pool.
Gone are the horses and groom – in their place you'll find stunning accommodation with English country cottage décor and spades of original character. Guests can relax in the sitting room with comfortable seating and a beautiful log burner for cosy evenings in. The oak-beamed country kitchen diner is perfect for whipping up a culinary storm whilst catching up with family and friends.
The sleeping accommodation comprises four bedrooms; two superkings, one king and one double. All of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with underfloor heating. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, suitable for less mobile guests.
Pippinwell is situated in the tree-lit courtyard where there is a designated area with table and chairs for guests' use.
Wallow in the range of activities on-site facilities, enjoyed by all of the farm's guests. You'll find a glorious leisure centre within the tranquil settings, offering a shared indoor heated swimming pool (open 7am to 10pm daily) and games room (pool table, table tennis). Or simply kick back and relax.
You have shared use of the grounds with plenty of outdoor seating and built in barbecue areas. The open field has football nets and badminton facilities and the space to gather the family for a cricket tournament. There's also a communal laundry room, a secure bike shed and boot room with walking maps and guides to the areas activities.

Bike Storage:
The dedicated secure storage bike shed has bike racks and a push button entry mechanism. There is also an outside hosepipe facility to clean your bikes after a day's ride.
Boot Room:
The dedicated boot room allows you to change muddy boots and wet clothes and leave them in situ without having to take them in to your beautiful cottages. You also don't have to worry about the mud or the wet floor in the boot will do the cleaning!
Leisure Complex:
Situated in the grounds, the leisure centre comprises a heated swimming pool and upstairs games room with pool table and table tennis.
The swimming pool has shower and changing facilities and is heated to 29 degrees all year round. Perfect for resting & recuperating after a long day's walk or as a rainy day alternative to getting out & about.
Please note, you will be required to bring your own towels for the swimming pool. Please see Notes.
HOUSE RULES:
Smoking is not allowed inside the property or in the communal areas
* One well-behaved dog allowed (£25 per dog/stay), to be kept to the ground floor and off the furniture please
Not suitable for stag parties or hen parties
Minimum stay 2 nights all year except at Christmas and New Year which is a minimum stay of 3 nights
We do ask that, in consideration of other guests, noise is kept to a minimum between the hours of 11pm and 7am
Due to Health & safety risk assessment, no lone swimming is permitted

There is no welcome basket, but you will find tea, coffee, sugar, milk and other condiments
