Travel to beautiful Amelia Island and enjoy the pristine, gated resort community of the Amelia Island Plantation Resort from this second-floor, one-level Beach Wood villa. Just a short walk away from miles of award-winning beaches, this colorful two-bedroom and two-bathroom condo is nicely renovated and comfortable, with sleeping arrangements for up to 6 people.
When not lounging beside the seashore, cooling off in one of the three crisp, clean Beach Wood pools, or bird watching from the balcony, guests will enjoy the condo's homey furnishings and well-equipped kitchen. The plush accommodations include a King Bed and Full Bath in the Master Bedroom, and a two Full Beds in the Second Bedroom, with a Full Bath right next door. The laundry room set off the kitchen makes it easy for running loads of linens.
Conveniently located to the resort shops, spa, restaurants and Nature Center, 2017 Beach Wood is also closely situated to the Omni hotel for business travelers attending conferences. Avid golf players can schedule tee times at the Oak Marsh Golf Course on the resort and pickleball fanatics will enjoy the new courts on the marshside in Drummond Point Park.
Our condo does consider dogs, and your furry companions will especially enjoy the resort's six miles of walking trails. Please note all dogs must be approved by management and there are size and breed restrictions. Guests must agree to certain terms and conditions, and a $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs.
Free high-speed Wifi is provided and there are flat screen TVs in the Living Room and Master Bedroom. Clean bed linens and bath towels are provided with all Destination Amelia rentals.
For a memorable night out, visit the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District by car only 15 minutes north. Guests love exploring the eclectic dining and shopping options, and catching sunsets at the harbor.
Bike and golf cart rentals are provided by many vendors and our team would be happy to make recommendations.
Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort (formerly known at the Amelia Island Plantation) and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service). Also, Racquet Park is limited only to Club members and their guests unless you're booking lessons or clinics. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities!
