9 Degrees North is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a large loft with two twin beds (sleeps 6 total). The house boasts a very private setting with all the amenities of home.
And now available...a newly built Bachelors Suite Casita with AC, TV, kitchenette (full sized fridge, counter top oven, coffee maker) and private bath. There is a queen sized bed in the suite to sleep 2 more!
Relax on the deck and enjoy amazing views of the Whales Tail, one of the true wonders of the world! The natural beauty of Costa Rica surrounds you with frequently seen wildlife such as Toucans, Iguanas, Monkeys, and Sloths. The area offers various activities from lounging at the beach, surfing, exploring local waterfalls, bird list goes on.
We have very stable and fast Fiber Optic Internet. There is a smart TV to connect to Netfilx in the living room area for watching movies. There is also a variety of DVD's movies for all ages, including for any young children. There are games, puzzles, and books. Enjoy relaxing in the loungers by the pool or enjoy lunch poolside at the table.
A Four Wheel Drive 4WD vehicle is required to access the house. The house is just above the town of Uvita, about 15 minutes up a well maintained, mountain dirt road.

Summary: We loved our time at 9 Degrees North in Uvita! We woke up every morning around sunrise to listen to and watch the animals - we saw toucans, hummingbirds, and so much more! The house was lovely and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing at home. Yes, the drive is steep, but you get used to it, and this is common for any home rental in the rainforest with a view. This was our second trip to Uvita and this drive was easier than our rental from last year! Thanks to Trina and Jorge for their great communication and hospitality.
