Fall asleep to the sounds of nature at Paradise on the Rocks. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa is nested into the hillside of Ajax Peak. Enjoy beautiful views of the boats entering Coral Bay and the lush green sights of Bordeaux Mountain. Once inside, the high ceilings, large windows and glass sliding door allow the natural light and views to flood every corner of this open concept living, kitchen and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, breakfast bar and dining table provide the perfect space to make dinner after a long day at the beach.
Adjacent to the kitchen are a bedroom, bathroom and small closet. The bedroom consists of a full size bed, large closet and porch access through the sliding glass door. In the hall closet guests will find beach towels and chairs, a dry bag, floating noodles and other beach and household necessities. The large bathroom with a gorgeous view from its outdoor shower completes the many amenities of the main house.
If you exit the main house onto the deck you can follow it to the Master bedroom with not only the sliding glass door entrance but its own private entrance through the driveway. This master suite has a queen sized bed and a large bathroom with an outdoor shower. Both outdoor showers feature gorgeous mountain views without compromising privacy. The floor plan makes this villa perfect for two couples to enjoy St. John as a group while having a bit more space for each couple to call their own.
The 180 degree view from the deck allows you to catch a beautiful sunrise in the east over Coral Bay and stunning sunsets painted across the hillside in the evening. Even on a rainy day watch the clouds roll over the ocean and through the valley before clearing to reveal on of Ajax Peak’s frequent rainbows. The views aren’t the only great benefit of the over 700 square feet of outdoor living space. Guests can enjoy morning coffee or yoga under the stars and in the tropical breeze, or utilize the outdoor dining area for a sunset dinner.
The location of Paradise on the Rocks couldn’t be more convenient for hikers and beach goers alike. With Maho and Francis Bays only a 7-minute drive away and easy access to Skinny Legs, East End and Salt Pond. Additionally, the Reef Bay Trail is less than 10 minutes away with the Cinnamon Bay Trail Head and Catherineberg Sugar Mill Ruins only a short distance further down Centerline Road. Being conveniently placed right between Cruz Bay and Coral Bay, at the intersection of Rt-10 and Rt-20, guests can explore any part of the island without a long drive.
