Positive: this is a very nice, very comfortable family home that is being renovated to a rooming house. Booking is easy and quick communication with manager. keys in usual lock box opposite front door alcove. Downstairs has new bathroom/laundry renovation. upstairs unrenovated bathroom is clean and solid. Kitchen is new, but no sign of usual expected amenities like tea & coffee etc. Large rear outdoor living deck. Elderly Chinese gentleman lives there. He does not communicate. It is opposite the original "sheehan's house" which was the only house on the island (when I was a boy) before the developers took over.
Negative: I had bedroom 1. It had some light old furniture. Light did not work, but had bed side 'touch' lamps. secondhand bed was cheap mattress, and uncomfortable. House has been fully painted and is very clean. Not much "not to like" about the location, ambience, cleanliness and accessibility which were all above expectations
