Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The location is great if you're travelling by car. The house is big enough for a group or family, although there is only one shower and one toilet. Feeling the ocean breeze is great and the neighbourhood is local and very quiet. It's a nice escape from the city.
Negative: The kitchen was not that clean with some items dirty. The house seemed to have been closed for a while as there was a damp smell. We did try to cancel our reservation quite close to the moment of booking because of a misinformation piece (which actually is also a Booking.com issue). There was no way we could explain this to the owner (again by design of Boooking.com and a lack of clear communication between us and the owner). We didn't meet the owner, they seemed nice and would usually reply quickly. Again no coffee or tea available - would be nice since we don't carry coffee. The bathroom needed a bit more cleaning, in the sink there was only soap bar available, already open. The bath was a bit rundown.
