Although the owners are nearby the setting provides seclusion. There is wonderful bird life and view of the beach below. The double bedroom looks out to sea, and there is a separate lounge with TV, couch bed, and bathroom with shower, and a compact kitchen. There is a North facing patio. This place is a wonderful place to chill and read a book, or a base for a visit to local potters or events in the area.
You can trek overland to get to Waiotahi beach below, over a few fences, or just a short drive away if you don’t want to walk back uphill.
Note:
There is an option for parents to put up a small tent if they have children at an additional cost of $10 per night. This is limited to children only.
Guests will need to collect the key from 38 Church Street Opotiki. If arriving outside of office hours guests will need to make arrangements with the property managers prior to arrival.
