Positive: The location was quiet and close enough to walk into town for dinner (which took 15 minutes, or so).
Negative: It did NOT look like the photos, and was much more like student housing that was neither clean, nor all that comfortable. It was unseasonably hot during our stay, and there is no AC upstairs, so it was like sleeping in a sauna. If we had been able to open the windows more than an inch or so, it would have been ok to air it out overnight when the weather cooled, but we couldn't. Not being able to open the windows also felt like a safety issue. The dishwasher was not fastened into place, so it tipped out when opened, and the front of the washer wasn't screwed on, so it fell off when it started. Also, the stairs are extremely steep with an awkward turn at the top, so some of us on our trip had difficulty climbing up and down safely. The trashcan was broken, the dish towels appeared to have been eaten by a mouse and left in cardboard box on the floor... I would not stay again. The place seemed to be falling apart and dirty.
