The Plateau Mont-Royal, this popular area that became yuppie-bohemian is by far the most hip in Montreal. This is the best place to really get a feel of what Montreal is all about. It’s community is predominantly francophone and highly eclectic. Artists, students, young professionals and new families mingle with each other, creating an extraordinarily vibrant and colorful human mosaic.
